Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators - AUS & NZ chapter

In Australia, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) aims to support professional children's book writers and illustrators by keeping them up to date with industry knowledge, publishers - and each other. They focus on selling our work to both the Australian and international markets, especially the USA.

Australian Script Centre

The Australian Script Centre is a non-profit association with a membership base comprising a diverse community of theatre makers, including many playwrights, drama educators, students, theatre companies and producers. It has been selectively collecting, promoting and distributing contemporary Australian plays in manuscript form since 1979. The Centre's work supports playwrights in particular by filling the gap left by the very small number of Australian plays that achieve commercial publication.

PlayWriting Australia

PlayWriting Australia works in concert with theatre companies, presenters, local playwriting groups, state funding bodies, international cultural bodies and other script development organisations across the country. It is a composite of two previous organisations, the Australian National Playwrights Centre (ANPC) and Playworks.

Poets Union
