Judge

Edward Charles is a Melbourne-based freelance journalist and food blogger.  He has written about food and restaurants for titles including SBS Food, the Herald Sun, The Australian and GQ and reviewed restaurants for The Age and Gourmet Traveller.  His blog, 'Tomato' (www.tomatom.com) is one of the top food blogs in Australia.  He is also, in his words, one of the ring leaders behind the Melbourne Fringe Food Festival. 

Conditions of entry
  • Review must be no more than 1500 words
  • Review must have been published in the previous calendar year (2010)
  • While the reviewed café or restaurant can be anywhere in the world, the writer must have resided in the ACT region (which covers the shires of Young, Harden, Gundagai, Tumut, Boorowa, Yass Valley, Upper Lachlan, Goulburn Mulwaree, Wingecarribee, Palerang, Greater Queanbeyan, Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla, Bega Valley, Bombala, Cooma-Monaro and Snowy River) at the time of publication.
  • A maximum of 2 entries allowed per person
  • No entry form is required and there is no entry fee
  • There will be one winner and the prize will be $200 worth of wine from Z4 Wines
