4th annual Z4 Wines Award for Book Reviewing

Judge
PS Cottier won this award last year with her review of Smoke in the Room by Emily Maguire. She has also had a number of book reviews published in The Canberra Times and Australian Women's Book Review. Her first poetry collection, The Glass Violin, was published in 2008 and a collection of short stories, called A Quiet Day, in 2009. Penelope’s poetry has also appeared in publications including extempore, Eureka Street, The Mozzie and Poetrix.
Conditions of entry
- Review must be no more than 1500 words
- Review must have been published in the previous calendar year (2010)
- The writer must have resided in the ACT region (which covers the shires of Young, Harden, Gundagai, Tumut, Boorowa, Yass Valley, Upper Lachlan, Goulburn Mulwaree, Wingecarribee, Palerang, Greater Queanbeyan, Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla, Bega Valley, Bombala, Cooma-Monaro and Snowy River) at the time of publication.
- A maximum of 2 entries allowed per person
- No entry form is required, but a $2 entry fee (or equivalent number of unused stamps) applies to each entry.
- The winners will be announced and the prizes awarded at the ACT Writers Centre Christmas party in December 2011.
